We Are The Hamilton Lions
Our club motto is: "We Serve" and you can too!
The Hamilton Lions Club is the oldest service club in Ravalli County. Chartered on February 3, 1930, the Hamilton Lions Club was established to help improve the quality of life in our community and to help Ravalli County residents needing financial assistance with eyesight and hearing problems.
For more than 70 years the Lions have hosted Lions Bingo at the Ravalli County Fair as its primary fundraising activity to support its programs and projects. After over 50 years of charging 25 cents per bingo card and five cards for $1, the Club increased the cost of each card to 50 cents or three cards for $1! That increase did not reduce the number of players who love playing bingo. Another big fundraiser for our Club is the annual golf tournament held every June at our beautiful public golf course. There are a number of other activities our Club sponsors such as Bitterroot Strikers Youth soccer; Daly Elementary first grade swim program; Heartism program; large print books for valley libraries and many other local events. Everyone is invited to share in the fun and to share in the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping our community and their neighbors in need.
Individuals interested in becoming members of the Hamilton Lions Club are invited to contact President John Orlando at 369-3655 or request a membership application by writing to: Hamilton Lions Club, PO Box 1564, Hamilton, MT 59840.
