Ennis Lions Park Pond Updates

The new East side of the pond shoreline has been completed thanks to Shorty Roberts skill with an excavator and 7.5 hours of work. A small peninsula and two indented half circles were added.  In addition, the depth of the pond on that side helps restore the original depth we had prior to gorging that should help fish survive when the weather is hot.   The change in shoreline and removal of obstructing trees really opens up the area.  Plans are to add grass seed and move about 50 cubic yards of rocks and sand behind the West ballfield fence.  The pond has significant material now stirred up so it will remain murky until this clears. We will add our new electric aerator system as things begin clearing.
